The latter is definitely a product of playing other romhacks that use the same music, but it was still weird hearing an upbeat track pretty much exclusively used in castle levels on the grim world 6 map, for example. in the Minecraft level, the endermen are hard to see), and the music choices were sometimes a bit strange. I personally have a few problems with individual levels that are mostly in the last two worlds, but the only complaints that really apply to multiple levels are that sometimes the graphics were a little off in ways that made it initially difficult to read what was going on (e.g. It's also a little weird that all the worlds have a shop that just lead back to the world 3 shop, but it's better than hypothetically making someone go all the way back there, plus they had starting areas that fit each world, which I appreciated even though they immediately led back to the world 3 ice zone outside the actual shop. I question the need for the fire flower AND the boomerang AND the hammer bros suit. And some powerups felt pretty similar to each other. The selection of powerups and the existence of the shop were good on paper, though a lot of levels just provided the necessary powerups at the start so I never ended up buying anything except by accident. There were very few times where I actually struggled on a particular obstacle. The difficulty curve is very smooth and there's clearly a lot of care put into the level design. It's a very laid-back and straightforward play for the most part, and I was definitely having a good time for most of it.
